The Senior Heritage Consultant/Associate Director will provide specialist built heritage advice to the development sector, manage a case load, and lead projects while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Undertaking historic research and analysis of historic buildings
Preparing heritage assessments and setting assessments for planning applications
Assisting with appeals and expert witness work
Providing clear heritage advice to colleagues and clients
Liaising with Historic England and local planning authorities
Qualification
Required
An appropriate degree, or post-graduate qualification in heritage conservation
Experience of managing your own case load
Experience in historic research
Preparation of Heritage Statements and Setting Assessments
Good understanding of the role of heritage within the UK planning system
Preferred
Accredited (full or associate) IHBC membership
