Responsibilities
Take the lead on insurance coverage cases from day one through trial
Work one-on-one with a supervising partner while managing your own docket
Draft and argue substantive motions in state and federal court
Handle written discovery, depositions and examinations under oath
Advise claims professionals and in-house counsel and prepare clear, practical coverage opinions
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of insurance coverage litigation experience (first-party property preferred)
Licensed in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (or applicable federal court)
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills with confidence managing client relationships
Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of files
