Responsibilities

Lead and oversee multiple product development and engineering programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones, coordinating efforts across R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and other functions
Facilitate communication among stakeholders, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and alignment
Identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload balancing to meet project demands
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies
Support the onboarding and development of project team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment
Track project performance metrics, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards throughout project execution
Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the program management team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field
2+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally within medical devices, biotechnology, or related industries
Proven success managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to commercialization
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing project managers or team members
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges

Preferred

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, IEC) related to medical device development is a plus
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
