Manager, Talent Solutions

Per Scholas is an organization dedicated to driving mobility and opportunity through tech training. The Manager, Talent Solutions will ensure graduates secure mid-level technology positions by developing employer partnerships and providing career advisement to graduates.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute engagement strategies to foster long-term partnerships with employers in the technology sector
Collaborate with employer partners to identify their talent needs and align Per Scholas graduates with suitable opportunities
Organize and lead employer networking events, informational sessions, and industry panels to connect graduates with hiring companies
Coordinate employer site visits and job shadowing opportunities to enhance graduates’ understanding of industry expectations
Maintain ongoing communication with employer partners to gather feedback on graduate performance and refine engagement strategies
Work closely with employer partners to create customized hiring programs, apprenticeships, or direct placement pipelines
Leverage labor market trends and employer insights to refine job placement strategies and expand employer networks
Experience in meeting and exceeding business development goals to ensure job attainment quotas are met
Provide personalized guidance and support to individuals regarding job attainment and career progression within their organization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to recommend graduates for specific job requisitions, leveraging insights into individual skills and talents
Conduct one-on-one sessions to address career concerns, strategize career goals, and provide ongoing support throughout their professional journey within the organization
Conduct job readiness assessments on learners to ensure their readiness for graduation and future employment
Co-manage alumni outreach and activities for students graduating from Per Scholas programs
Monitor and manage student outcome and placement data in Per Scholas Salesforce database as well as up-and-out metrics for internal and client reporting
Maintain accurate records of career advisement sessions and contribute to reports evaluating the success of career development initiatives
Provide feedback from employers to the product development team to strengthen our curriculum and services

Required

3-5 years of related professional experience, preferably in sales/business development, career development, and/or adult workforce development
Career and job development with specific experience in job-readiness/workplace skills training
Ability to generate or leverage existing relationships with employers
Experience with social media platforms
Data-savvy and metrics-oriented
Knowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Apollo is a plus
