Human Resource Analyst
Infojini Inc is seeking a Human Resource Analyst II to perform a full range of human resources duties. The role involves conducting recruitment and selection processes, administering salary and benefit projects, and providing support for employee relations and organizational development.
Responsibilities
Perform the full range of recruitment and selection duties, including application screening; writing brochures and flyers; scheduling examinations; preparation of written, performance, and oral examinations and interview materials; preparation of assessment centers; scheduling hiring interviews; and administering other selection methods
Develop new recruitment advertising and public relations/outreach techniques to attract a skilled and diverse pool of qualified applicants for difficult-to-fill classifications, including field recruitment activities such as college job fairs and community or school outreach programs
Participate in the development, execution, and analysis of compensation, classification, and benefits studies and surveys
Assist in the analysis and administration of benefit programs for current employees and retirees
Plan, research, and complete personnel-related projects; coordinate programs such as new employee orientation, employee recognition, and internships; and coordinate special events
Counsel and advise employees, supervisors, department heads, and the public on employment, promotion, retirement, benefits, and classification and compensation policies and procedures
Assist with the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues and organizational development matters, including performance evaluations, disciplinary matters, and discrimination and harassment complaints
Write class specifications and essential functions of positions
Perform administrative support duties and assist in the interpretation and application of human resources rules, policies, and legislation
Maintain effective communication with the public and Client management staff; meet with employees and citizens to provide information and solutions to problems
Conduct preparatory research for labor negotiations
Interpret rules, regulations, laws, MOUs, and policies when making recommendations to internal and external customers
Plan, develop, coordinate, and present training sessions and classes for client employees
Prepare written memos, letters, reports, standard operating procedures, policies, and publications for effective communication with internal and external customers
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Principles, methods, and techniques of public human resources administration, including at least two of the following areas: position classification, benefit administration, recruitment and personnel selection, and compensation
Applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations
Principles and techniques of effective supervision, interviewing, and counseling
Theory and practice of group process
Interpret the client's personnel programs and policies to employees, departments, and the general public
Perform complex human resources work with minimal supervision
Gather, interpret, and analyze information and solve problems
Set priorities and use time efficiently
Make verbal presentations requiring tact, persuasion, and diplomacy
Make recommendations and evaluate alternative courses of action
Complete multifaceted projects and activities with strong attention to detail
One year of experience performing duties comparable to those of a Human Resources Analyst
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration, human resources, or a related field
Possession of a valid California Driver License
