PVC Hardware Kit Builder

They are seeking an experienced PVC Hardware Kit Builder to accurately kit all hardware requirements for PVC strip curtain orders, ensuring timely and organized production and shipping.

Responsibilities

Accurately count, bag, and label fasteners, clamps, and other small hardware components for PVC strip curtain orders
Box long‑format hardware assemblies (up to 10 feet in length) in a safe and organized manner, ensuring secure packaging and correct identification
Combine long hardware, fastener kits, and clamps into complete hardware kits for each order
Stage, palletize, and organize completed hardware kits for downstream production and shipping teams
Maintain strict accuracy in quantities, labeling, and specifications to prevent shortages, rework, or order delays
Work at a dedicated hardware kitting station, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment at all times
Manage hardware bin inventory at the workstation; notify leadership when replenishment is required
Follow 5S principles to ensure tools, materials, and packaging supplies are easy to access and consistently organized
Support overall team workflow by keeping hardware kits ahead of production demand
Coordinate daily with PVC Strip Curtain Assemblers and Order Leads to ensure hardware is ready ahead of schedule
Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or BOM issues quickly and clearly to supervisors
Demonstrate a strong understanding of how hardware kitting impacts the broader operation—including quality, delivery, and productivity KPIs
Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Uphold all safety procedures, especially when handling long or heavy materials
Follow proper ergonomic and lifting techniques; use provided material‑handling tools/equipment safely
Perform quality checks on hardware counts, packaging, and kit completeness
Report any safety risks, product inconsistencies, or process issues immediately

Required

Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or kitting roles preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to count, sort, and organize small parts with accuracy
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver long hardware (up to 10' boxed assemblies)
Comfortable working at a dedicated workbench with frequent standing and movement
Basic math skills and ability to follow written BOMs, labels, and work orders
Highly organized—able to maintain order and accuracy in a busy environment
Motivated and reliable—drives productivity while maintaining high quality
Big‑picture awareness—understands how kitting accuracy impacts team output and customer orders
Team player—works effectively in a 12‑person unit supporting shared goals
Safety-minded—follows all safety policies and proactively identifies risks
Ability to stand at a work table for extended periods
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs frequently and maneuver long boxed hardware safely
Repeated bending, reaching, and handling of small parts and packaging materials
