Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets
Source, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships for mechanical equipment and oil & gas materials
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and field operations to forecast material needs
Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Manage procurement team performance and provide training and mentorship
Oversee purchase orders, contracts, and vendor performance evaluations
Resolve procurement-related issues promptly to avoid project delays
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 5+ years in procurement within oil & gas or heavy industrial sectors
Strong mechanical knowledge
Proven experience managing large-scale projects and vendor negotiations
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in ERP systems (Spectrum or similar), Trimble, and Procure
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive under pressure, work extended hours, and multitask effectively
