Responsibilities

Develop and implement pricing strategies for American Express's Global Network Services to drive profitable growth
Develop new pricing constructs for AXP’s network Debit card products, leveraging data-driven insights to support principled and optimized network pricing strategies
Conduct in-depth research on the external landscape and distill key insights to inform the GNS Debit and broader pricing strategy
Support Network Partner negotiations by developing data-backed proposals, driving alignment with internal stakeholders, and ensuring outcomes that are in-sync with AXP’s value proposition
Manage project workflows with limited oversight from leadership, overseeing timelines, deliverables, and next steps
Continuously assess and improve pricing processes, reporting and tools, leveraging technology and data to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Act as a subject matter expert on pricing strategy, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of pricing decisions on business performance

Required

4+ years' experience in Pricing, Finance, Analytics, Management Consulting or related field required
Strong analytical aptitude; demonstrated ability to develop sophisticated financial models and draw value-added insights from data
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; familiarity or proficiency in using SQL to extract complex data for analysis
Strong relationship management and collaboration skills – ability to manage internal stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading discussions with Senior Leaders to drive to consensus
Results-driven, with the ability to work under pressure, navigate ambiguity, draw linkages, and balance multiple priorities

Preferred

Experience in, or significant exposure to, the payments industry is strongly preferred
