Responsibilities
Client correspondence, calendar management, and operational command of the financial planning practice
Account opening and maintenance (Investment accounts, Insurance plans, and Financial Planning agreements)
Preparing documents using financial planning software and other systems
Facilitating investment operations training for new advisors and staff
Handling the escalation of operational issues for advisors/staff and working with appropriate parties to achieve resolution
Managing daily/weekly tasks related to investment operations for the firm
Marketing, and various projects, and other tasks as needed
General professionalism, “Above and Beyond” customer service, and strict adherence to all regulatory, compliance and confidentiality standards are essential components of this role
In addition to these day-to-day tasks, there will be other duties that arise during business – flexibility and a “team player” attitude is essential
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in the financial services industry is required
Life, Accident and Health Insurance license prior to start date
Investment licenses are preferred prior to start date, but non-licensed applicants will be considered on the condition that they become licensed within 3-6 months (Series 6 and Series 63 or Series 7 and Series 66)
