Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire/life safety, and control systems
Ensure building systems meet applicable standards, codes, and safety regulations
Assist with and execute preventive maintenance programs
Perform emergency repairs as needed
Maintain energy management practices to ensure efficient system operation
Follow policies for safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
Conduct inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems
Apply technical knowledge to resolve complex maintenance issues
Work independently while supporting broader facility operations
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Qualification
Required
Mechanical aptitude
Basic electrical skills
Basic plumbing skills
Strong customer service skills
Comfortable working at heights and accessing rooftops
Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks (standing, climbing, stooping)
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred
Forklift experience
HVAC experience
Dock door experience
Leveler experience
Universal CFC certification
Trade school preferred but not required
Prior shift leadership or supervisory experience preferred
