Responsibilities
Independently manage the dispatch board in a high-volume environment
Assign and direct drivers based on priority, location, and availability
Make confident, real-time decisions during high-pressure situations
Maintain clear, assertive communication with drivers while remaining professional
Monitor active calls and continuously adjust assignments as conditions change
Serve as the central coordination point between drivers, internal teams, and external partners
Maintain operational control without unnecessary escalation
Qualification
Required
Prior experience as a dispatcher in towing, transportation, logistics, or a similar high-volume environment
Demonstrated ability to run a dispatch board rather than solely take inbound calls
Strong communication skills with the ability to be assertive with tact
Proven ability to stay calm, decisive, and organized under pressure
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and making judgment calls independently
Preferred
Candidates with true dispatch leadership experience will be prioritized
