Senior Media Buyer
Confidential company is seeking an experienced Media Buyer with a strong foundation in Direct Response Television (DRTV) and Performance Media buying. The role involves developing and executing media strategies, negotiating rates, and analyzing media performance to drive measurable results.

Responsibilities
Buy and manage media across national cable, unwired networks, and local broadcast stations, with an emphasis on response-driven performance
Negotiate rates, added value, and integrations to maximize efficiency (CPI, CPS, CPBL, and Cost/TBIL metrics)
Analyze post-buy performance and collaborate with analytics and planning teams to optimize placements and creative rotations
Work closely with Account Services and Planning to align buys with client goals, test plans, and campaign KPIs
Utilize proprietary and third-party tools (AccuTrak™, Nielsen, Comscore) to evaluate media performance and audience trends
Identify new media opportunities across linear, OTT/CTV, streaming, and specialty networks
Maintain strong vendor relationships to secure premium inventory and value-added opportunities
Manage budgets, flighting, and reconciliation with Finance and Traffic departments
Stay current on market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitive activity to inform buying strategies
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience buying Direct Response TV or Performance Media (agency experience strongly preferred)
Proven ability to analyze media results and optimize based on performance data
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel and media planning/buying software
Preferred
Understanding of OTT/CTV buying and emerging performance-based video platforms is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred
