EHS/Safety Intern

They are seeking an EHS/Safety Intern to support their manufacturing and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, providing hands-on experience in safety and compliance within a global industrial company.

Responsibilities

Assist in updating and maintaining corporate EHS documents, training materials, and safety programs
Help track EHS initiatives and participate in ongoing improvement efforts
Support the development of risk-management tools and safety communication resources
Participate in incident investigations by gathering data, reviewing documentation, and supporting root-cause analysis
Help track first aids, near misses, and corrective actions to ensure timely follow-up
Assist the human resources staff during internal audits by preparing documentation, checklists, and observations
Help manufacturing sites gather data needed for annual EHS plans and compliance reporting
Provide on-site or virtual support to manufacturing teams as needed
Engage with cross-functional partners to help drive awareness of safety requirements
Participate in EHS training sessions and help develop tools that strengthen safety knowledge across the network

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Preferred

Basic understanding of workplace safety, OSHA principles, or industrial environmental concerns (coursework accepted)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn from experienced EHS professionals
