This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process improvement, data analysis, and project management while working closely with the Continuous Improvement team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the identification and analysis of improvement opportunities using data
Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss and develop improvement strategies
Assist in the creation of process maps and documentation, standard operating procedures, and/or training materials
Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects
Conduct research on best practices and industry trends related to continuous improvement

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis

Preferred

Previous experience or coursework in continuous improvement, manufacturing and materials science (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
