Responsibilities
Take ownership of critical flight components, from concept and design through testing, manufacturing, and integration
Collaborate across design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure high-performance, reliable, and manufacturable hardware
Lead and mentor engineers (for senior/lead roles), helping define strategy, processes, and technical execution
Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes for precision components, bridging design and production
Solve challenging problems using first-principles thinking, advanced simulation, and hands-on testing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related engineering field
3+ years in precision manufacturing, mechanical systems, or propulsion-related engineering
Proven ability in CAD, GD&T, CNC machining, and design for manufacturability
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Master's preferred for senior/lead roles
5+ years for senior/lead positions
Leadership experience for senior/lead positions
Aerospace or defense experience
Scripting for analysis/automation (Python, MATLAB)
Experience taking projects from concept to flight
