Mid LevelK&K Global Talent Solutions INC. is seeking a Telephony Automation & VoIP Platform Engineer to support large-scale voice platform operations and migrations in a telecom/ISP environment. This hands-on engineering role involves managing VoIP platforms, device provisioning, and automating processes while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful migrations and system integrations.

Responsibilities
Manage and support VoIP platform Qualification, such as registration / monitoring / calling / billing capabilities
Configure, provision, and maintain ATA devices , specifically Polycom ATA 400
Perform remote device provisioning and lifecycle management using TR-069
Troubleshoot SIP signaling, TLS security, and voice traffic issues
Lead and support large-scale customer migrations (tens of thousands of users) from legacy voice platforms to modern VoIP stacks
Validate end-to-end provisioning, peering, and service operability post-migration
Perform pre- and post-migration data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Develop scripts (primarily Python ) to automate:
Sequences of REST API calls
Validation workflows
Error detection and reporting
Support automation for testing, provisioning validation, and operational checks
Work in Linux environments to support scripts and system operations
Validate data exchanged between vendor-provided devices , vendor APIs, and internal systems
Use REST APIs and tools such as Postman to test, validate, and debug integrations
Create or support APIs for internal system consumption of validated data
Write SQL queries for data collection, analysis, and reconciliation. Experience with BigQuery and Looker studio prefferred
Use Wireshark / packet capture tools to troubleshoot TCP/IP, SIP, and TLS issues
Collaborate with vendors, engineering teams, and operations teams to resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Strong VoIP experience
ATA device experience (mandatory), specifically Polycom ATA 400
SIP & TLS
TCP/IP fundamentals
Wireshark / packet capture
TR-069 (remote provisioning and device management)
Python scripting
General scripting (Shell/Bash)
Linux system administration
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
REST APIs
Postman
SQL (data validation and analysis)
Experience working in a Telecom / ISP / ITSP environment
Preferred
Cloud certifications (GCP preferred)
Experience with large-scale telecom customer migrations
Vendor integration and coordination experience
Exposure to voice platform transitions (legacy → third-party VoIP platforms)
