Responsibilities
Lead mechanical maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, equipment repairs, fabrication, machining, and rebuilds
Establish technical standards and workmanship expectations for mechanical, fabrication, and machining job types
Develop, implement, and improve PM programs for rotating equipment, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, fabrication tools, and mechanical assets
Oversee alignment procedures, bearing fits, lubrication practices, welding quality, machining tolerances, and piping/fabrication accuracy
Ensure accurate and detailed SAP documentation including PM updates, corrective work, labor confirmations, and parts usage
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Reliability, and Projects to address chronic mechanical issues and support equipment installations
Support rigging, alignment, commissioning, and mechanical integration for new equipment
Participate in RCAs and reliability improvement initiatives
Maintain strict adherence to LOTO, hot work, rigging safety, confined space, and machine guarding requirements
Coach, mentor, and build technical talent across mechanics, welders, and machinists
Qualification
Required
7+ years of industrial mechanical experience (rotating equipment, machining, welding, fabrication, or hydraulics/pneumatics)
2+ years leadership or senior-level mechanical maintenance experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting capability across production and facility systems
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, fabrication prints, piping isometrics
CMMS experience (SAP preferred)
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
