CNA, Scranton Transitional Rehab Unit (PT evenings)
Allied Services is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for their Scranton Transitional Rehab Unit. The role involves assisting nurses with routine assignments, preparing residents, and maintaining hygiene standards in the facility.

Assist nurses in carrying out routine assignments
Transport and prepare residents and equipment
Keep equipment and areas in an orderly hygienic condition
Qualification
Required
Completion of Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program
Must be cleared by PA State Police criminal history check
Must meet federal requirements for enrollment on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry upon employment; OR within 120 days of employment, must successfully complete the required Nurse Aide course and competency examination
Must be sixteen years of age or older (will work within restrictions of child labor law)
CPR Certification required or must be obtained and maintained
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills required for effective interaction (including promoting and maintaining positive relationships) with patients, visitors or other hospital personnel
Must adhere to nursing policies and standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Must be willing to rotate to other units as necessary
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Six months experience as a Nurse Aide in a geriatric setting
