BIOGASTREX is a founder-backed, pre-launch medical device development and longevity telehealth startup seeking a high-caliber COO to lead the organization from inception through institutional funding and rapid scale. The COO will be responsible for defining the company’s strategic direction, building and leading the core team, and driving fundraising and commercial execution.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the long-term vision, business model, and go-to-market strategy for: (1) a longevity-focused telehealth platform and (2) various medical devices that cover unmet needs in gastroenterology and medicine
Lead fundraising efforts, including building a compelling investor narrative and closing subsequent equity rounds (intent is to raise $10MM)
Recruit, lead, and retain a high-caliber leadership team

Required

Proven experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., C-suite, Founder, GM, or similar) in healthcare, technology, or a similar field
Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital from angels, family offices, or institutional investors
Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, and iterating quickly
Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate clinical and technological capabilities into a scalable business model and clear KPIs
Exceptional communicator, able to inspire confidence with investors, clinicians, employees, and strategic partners
Deep commitment to improving patient lives and advancing the science and practice of longevity medicine

Preferred

IT or technology background is a significant plus (e.g., experience with telehealth platforms, health IT, data/AI-enabled care models, or prior technical training), especially with HIPAA Compliance
