Responsibilities

Production support and optimization of Snowflake and ETL data pipelines
Design and development of Snowflake data models and SQL solutions
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data integrity, latency, and pipeline issues
Implement CDC, SCD Type 2, Data Vault, and dimensional models
Support orchestration tools (Airflow, ESP) and databases (Snowflake, DB2)
Perform data quality checks, root cause analysis, and reconciliation
Maintain documentation, support playbooks, and production procedures
Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior engineers
Participate in on-call/after-hours support as needed

Required

5+ years in data warehousing and BI environments
3+ years advanced SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
Strong Snowflake development and data modeling expertise
Experience with CDC, SCD Type 2, and Data Vault frameworks
Proficiency in SQL, Python/Shell scripting
Familiarity with Airflow, ESP, Git, CI/CD, Jira or ServiceNow
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
