They are seeking an experienced Data Technician to support night shift operations, focusing on Cat6 and fiber optic installations, including pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing cables to industry standards.

Responsibilities
Pull, terminate, test, and label fiber optic and copper cables in accordance with industry standards
Install switches, patch panels, and access points
Migrate and install equipment in IDF and AP areas
Perform abatement and removal of old access points, copper, and fiber systems
Utilize personal tools and PPE for safe and effective work execution
Operate boom or scissor lifts as required on-site
Read and interpret cabling blueprints for accurate installation
Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in fiber optic cabling installation, including pulling, terminating, testing, and labeling
Strong background in copper cabling installation (Cat6) with termination, testing, and labeling skills
Experience in installing switches, patch panels, and access points
Comfortable with equipment migration (IDF and AP)
Familiarity with cabling blueprints and industry installation standards
Experience in removal and abatement of old equipment (APs, copper, fiber)
Ability to operate a boom or scissor lift safely
Own transportation to commute to the job site
Ability to provide your own PPE (Class E hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, safety-toe boots)
Completion of Ammonia Training is required before starting (course duration: 2 hours)
Attendance is critical for this role; excessive or unnecessary absences may result in replacement
