UNIV - Reproductive Fellow - Psychiatry: Women's Reproductive Behavioral Health (WRBH)

The Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is offering a 12-month fellowship with subspecialty training in reproductive psychiatry. The fellow will work with a multidisciplinary team and will have exposure to clinical programs, dedicated time for scholarly work, and opportunities for clinical research related to Women’s Mental Health across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

The fellow will work with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, obstetricians and gynecologists, psychologists, therapists, care coordinators, community-based doulas, and peer recovery support specialists
Fellows will participate in the National Curriculum for Reproductive Psychiatry fellow series
Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in medical student and psychiatry resident education, and presentations at local and national conferences, grand rounds, and/or community events
Fellows will have protected time to complete a scholarly project and participate in clinical research, if desired

Required

Completed an ACGME accredited psychiatry or obstetrics and gynecology residency prior to the start of fellowship
Physicians who have completed residency training in psychiatry or obstetrics and gynecology
Ability to maintain a valid drivers license
Computer literacy
Ability to work rotating shifts
Ability to work overtime as required
Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required
