Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repair of both surface and underground fixed mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, etc
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of conveyor systems
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repair on Jaw crushing systems
Basic fabrication skills including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arc
Excellent safety and attendance record
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job
The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
Preferred
Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and type
Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and the ability to apply those skills to troubleshoot and repair systems
Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools
