The role focuses on data collection, accuracy, and structured processes within technical environments, working alongside experienced engineers to manage technical data from physical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Accurately record data from physical equipment, racks, cables, and labels

Capture information such as asset IDs, serial numbers, rack positions, ports, and power details

Maintain structured records using Excel spreadsheets and project templates

Check data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness

Work within live datacentre environments, following site rules and instructions

Communicate updates via Microsoft Teams

Follow written procedures, checklists, and method statements

Support documentation and data handover activities

Advanced Excel skills, including: Formulas (XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP, IF, COUNTIFS)

Experience working with large datasets

Able and willing to travel as required for project delivery
