Responsibilities
Support the Project team by reading, interpreting and understanding project specs as well as and P&IDs to specify instrumentation and panel components
Develop accurate submittals, calculate panel heat and amperage, loadings, schematics, loop drawings, develop sheet metal drawings & control narratives, RFI’s etc
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a huge plus. Will consider years of experience and associates degree
2+ years of experience in PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens) or controls engineering
Proficiency in cost estimation tools (Excel, ERP software) and PLC software (RSLogix, Logix5, Logix500, Studio 500, FactoryTalk)
Ability to perform technical calculations and component sizing
Familiarity with industrial automation standards and safety protocols (OSHA, NFPA 70E)
Preferred
Background in industrial controls, automation, or water/wastewater systems preferred
