United Pharma Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Engineer with strong Siemens Desigo expertise to support building and facility automation systems in a regulated environment. This role will function as a technical lead, responsible for system design, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and stakeholder support.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain BAS/BMS systems using Siemens Desigo
Lead and support commissioning, start-up, FATs, and SATs
Review vendor submittals, control drawings, sequences of operation, and technical documentation
Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and customers
Support system optimization and off-shift emergency troubleshooting when required
Advise on automation technologies and project execution strategies

Required

Extensive hands-on experience with Siemens Desigo
Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, facility utilities, and environmental monitoring systems
Ability to work independently as a self-directed technical lead
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
High attention to detail in a regulated environment

Preferred

Experience with access control, video surveillance, energy management, or lighting systems
Windows OS and network troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of ISA / IEC standards
Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments
Familiarity with Computer Systems Validation (CSV)
