Responsibilities

Prepare estimates for Glulam projects, including:
Glulam Post Frame Columns
Glulam Beams & Rafters
Timber Trusses
GLT Mass Timber
Use estimating software to identify appropriate products, quantities, and configurations
Review project plans and specifications to determine customer needs
Collaborate with Sales and Special Operations teams to develop customized solutions
Participate in estimate reviews with Sales and customers
Leverage point-of-sale systems and vendor relationships to create complete and accurate estimates
Track estimates to ensure timely delivery and follow-up
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, architects, and builders

Required

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret residential and/or commercial construction plans and specifications
Strong computer skills and comfort with estimating software
Associate degree (2year) in Architectural Drafting and Estimating, or
Four (4) years of relevant experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Preferred

Preferred experience with: WoodWorks
ProCore
CAD software
Microsoft Office Suite (strong emphasis on Excel)
