Responsibilities
Build and maintain a robust sales funnel to secure and grow strategic customer relationships in biotech/pharma sectors
Develop and execute cohesive sales strategies for acquiring and managing biopharma business opportunities within assigned regions
Collaborate with Commercial leadership to align business development with growth objectives
Lead client project strategies, manage relationships, act as escalation contact, and align internal teams with client needs
Negotiate and ensure compliance with contract terms (in collaboration with legal and senior management)
Represent at trade shows, industry events, and networking groups
Collect market intelligence on customers, competitors, and industry trends
Identify new revenue opportunities, risks, and financing needs to expand the commercial portfolio
Lead business development initiatives, including partner identification, deal structuring, and transaction execution
Analyse and manage sales pipeline to assess customer and market dynamics
Build effective partnerships with internal stakeholders to support client relationships and opportunities
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of experience in client-facing commercial, sales, or BD roles in the CDMO industry
Strong understanding of fill/finish injectables CDMO services
Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and the ability to utilize these to drive strategies and tactics
Understanding of new technologies and trends in the biopharmaceutical industry
Strong hunter type personality
Strong cross functional team player, interfacing with commercial and operational colleagues to drive new business and growth of existing client portfolios
Ability to generate strong and trusting client relationships
Field-based; up to 30-50% travel as needed
