Responsibilities
Oversee general ledger and core accounting functions, including AR, marketing, labor, fixed assets, leases, debt, and bank reconciliations
Manage the chart of accounts and ensure accurate financial transaction recording across multiple brands and locations
Lead the preparation, review, and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-compliant financial statements
Manage the financial consolidation process across all corporate entities
Lead month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on operational efficiency
Provide financial analysis, reporting packages, and variance explanations to executive leadership
Support FP&A with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range modeling
Maintain accounting policies and internal controls; ensure compliance with regulatory and GAAP standards
Serve as primary contact for external auditors and oversee the audit lifecycle
Implement process improvements and best practices across the accounting function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience in multi-unit businesses (restaurant, hospitality, retail, or similar)
Proven experience managing audits and strengthening internal controls
Preferred
