IT Support Technician
Foxys IT Services is seeking a Desk Side Support professional to provide hands-on IT support to end users in a dynamic, on-site environment. The role involves troubleshooting, equipment setup, and ensuring users have a smooth IT experience.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
Troubleshoot hardware, Windows OS, software, and connectivity issues
Install, configure, replace, and upgrade IT equipment (PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, docking stations, accessories)
Support Windows operating systems and standard corporate applications
Handle user account requests (password resets, access issues) following procedures
Log, track, and update tickets accurately in the service management system
Escalate incidents to Level 2 or specialized teams when needed
Perform basic asset management (inventory, tagging, tracking, lifecycle support)
Support workstation moves, adds, and changes (MAC activities)
Follow IT policies, security standards, and compliance requirements
Deliver professional customer service and clear communication with users and stakeholders
Support additional desk-side IT tasks as requested by the client
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in Desk Side Support, IT Support, or Technical Support (Level 1)
Basic knowledge of Windows OS and common enterprise applications
Hands-on experience with desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting
Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL-based processes
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, printers)
Flexibility to support different sites and tasks
Basic experience with Active Directory (user administration)
Knowledge of Office 365 or similar productivity suites
