Workers Compensation Attorney
W3Global is seeking a highly motivated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in workers' compensation cases, provide expert legal counsel, and work to achieve the best possible outcomes for claimants.

Responsibilities
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss claims, provide legal advice, and assess case merits
Case Management: Handle a caseload of workers' compensation matters from inception to resolution, ensuring deadlines are met
Legal Research: Conduct research to support cases and stay current with changes in workers' compensation laws
Document Preparation: Draft and review pleadings, motions, petitions, and settlement agreements
Negotiation: Negotiate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties to secure favorable settlements, including TTD and PPD benefits and medical care
Court Representation: Represent clients at IWCC hearings, trials, and appeals, presenting evidence and arguments effectively
Communication: Maintain regular updates with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution: Engage in mediation or other resolution processes as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active licensure to practice law in Illinois
0-15 years of experience in workers' compensation or related fields
Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and procedures
Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal research and case management software
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality legal services
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Compassion for injured workers and dedication to achieving justice
