Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Partner closely with engineering leadership to support planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary hardware programs
Develop and maintain analytical models related to program cost, schedule, resourcing, and execution scenarios
Support annual and rolling forecasts for engineering programs, including headcount, vendor spend, and capital needs
Conduct ad hoc technical, financial, and operational analyses to inform program and leadership decision-making
Act as an analytical point of contact across engineering, finance, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and constraints
Track program status, risks, and dependencies; synthesize inputs into clear, executive-ready updates
Prepare concise presentations and written materials for engineering leadership, finance, and executive stakeholders
Support resource planning efforts to ensure engineering programs are adequately staffed and sequenced
Establish and maintain standardized reports and dashboards to improve visibility into program health
Identify inefficiencies in existing tools, processes, or reporting and drive improvements in partnership with stakeholders
Maintain clear documentation, notes, and assumptions to ensure continuity and transparency across teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical or analytical field
2+ years of experience in analytical, technical program support, operations, or project-based roles
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including the ability to build structured models and analyze complex datasets
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate, well-structured work
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Willingness to work overtime, or weekends to support critical mission milestones
Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
Specific certifications, as appropriate

Preferred

Experience supporting engineering, hardware, manufacturing, or R&D organizations
Engineering background strongly preferred
Familiarity with program or project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project, Confluence)
Ability to synthesize technical and financial inputs into clear insights for leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior technical leaders
Experience working in aerospace, manufacturing, or other highly technical, capital-intensive environments
Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
