Legal Administrative Assistant
Gadsden Schneider & Woodward LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support their established trusts and estates practice. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to estate planning attorneys in a collaborative and professional environment.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Preparing, editing, and finalizing estate planning and related legal documents from templates and attorney drafts
Managing attorney calendars, scheduling client meetings, document signings, and notarial appointments
Serving as a professional point of contact for clients, answering calls and facilitating clear, courteous communication
Processing new client intakes and accurately entering information into firm systems
Maintaining well-organized digital and physical client files, including active and archived matters
Coordinating the execution and distribution of client documents
Notarizing documents or obtaining a notary commission, if not already commissioned
Qualification
Required
Prior experience as a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary in a law firm
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and advanced proofreading abilities
Proven ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and prioritize work effectively
Professional demeanor and strong client-service mindset
Familiarity with legal document preparation and file management systems
Notary commission or eligibility to obtain one
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred
Experience in estate planning is desired
