Start in 2026 FallDelta Air Lines is seeking a Graduate Intern for their Corporate Safety team. The role involves supporting the upkeep and communication of OSHA program guidelines and assisting with Emergency Action Plan development and updating safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Develop knowledge of regulatory and divisional compliance requirements
Assist departments develop their Emergency Action Plans (EAP)
Assist in the review and updating of the Corporate Safety Policies and Procedures Manual (SPPM)
Support the OSHA program’s team with current initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Qualified candidate must be enrolled as a current/active student in an accredited master's program at a college and/or university
Currently obtaining master's degree in Occupational Safety, Fire and Life Safety, or other Safety related field
Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, NFPA 101, and Emergency Management
Candidate must be willing to commit to the duration of the internship which may last up to 12 months or longer
Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the internship
Must have strong verbal and writing skills
Must be able to effectively work with standard Microsoft Office products
Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Table)
Possess a basic knowledge of Smartsheet
Ability to travel up to 10%
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulation interpretation and application experience, preferably holds an OSHA 30 General Industry card
Emergency Action Plan development experience
Experience coordinating Fire Drills
