Responsibilities
Working with the Corporate BD Director and US leadership team act in a key advisory capacity to deliver the marketing and business development strategy for the capital markets function
Take the lead on the client relationship plans for the capital markets team, working with key stakeholders to maintain existing relationships for the firms core clients, whilst also providing strategic insight on potential new clients and cross selling potential
Ensure that you provide mentorship and leadership guidance to the existing business development professionals that will report into you, setting examples of best practice
Work with the central brand and communications team to enhance the firms overall positioning in the market and work with specific partner groups on profile raising too
Keep up to date on market trend and competitor analysis for the capital markets group, ensuring your are advising the partners on these matters
Qualification
Required
Experience in business development and marketing within the legal sector, specifically in capital markets
Ability to work with senior leadership and act in an advisory capacity
Proven track record in developing and executing marketing and business development strategies
Strong client relationship management skills
Experience in mentoring and providing leadership guidance to business development professionals
Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis in the capital markets space
Preferred
Current Associate Director level experience or Senior Manager level with a good understanding of capital markets
