Principal duties involve all major floor care project work including mopping, buffing, stripping, and refinishing floors and vacuuming, shampooing and extracting carpets. Duties also include wall washing
Qualification
Required
Must be literate, able to perform simple arithmetic, and follow oral and written instructions with limited supervision
Mechanical aptitude helpful
Previous experience helpful
An experienced worker will need three to five days of instructions and at least 30 days on-the-job training under the direction of the Assistant Manager to perform satisfactorily
This is a safety sensitive position
Normal/corrected eyesight
Hearing within normal range
Exposure to chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards
Operates floor machines – battery operated and electric, buffers, scrubbers, and wet vacuums and extractors
Continuous walking and standing
Lifting up to 75 lbs
