Responsibilities
Design and develop SQL and ETL solutions to extract, transform, and load data from SAP ECC 6 and other enterprise systems into the data platform
Leverage SAP BAPIs and related integration methods to access and process ERP data efficiently
Design and maintain scalable data models to support reporting and analytics
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and design or refine data models that adapt to changing business requirements
Maintain documentation of data models, ETL processes, and BI solutions for reference and auditing purposes
Design and implement business intelligence best practices, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards, protecting sensitive information and ensuring data privacy
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or equivalent from an accredited four-year institution
5+ years of experience in data analysis, SQL development, and SAP ECC 6 data modeling
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6, including a strong understanding of core modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) and key table structures required
Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex query development, performance tuning, and stored procedure design
Experience extracting and integrating SAP data using BAPIs, RFCs, or other SAP integration methods
Proficiency in data modeling and ETL development, with the ability to design scalable, well-structured data solutions
Experience working with end users to gather requirements and build technical solutions from concept to implementation
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other database platforms (e.g., Oracle)
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines. A high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to adapt and thrive with change and complexity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Capable of traveling as required up to 15%
This is an onsite-only role based in Hebron, KY. Candidates must be able to commute daily; relocation support is not available
Preferred
Previous experience with Power BI strongly preferred
Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) for data validation and support of reporting needs
