Creative Planning is seeking a Payroll and Timekeeping Implementation Specialist to join their implementation team supporting clients on the UKG Ready platform. This role involves assisting with the configuration and deployment of payroll and timekeeping solutions to help clients achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Assist with the setup and configuration of payroll and timekeeping modules
Support clients in executing project tasks and timelines
Enter and validate client data related to earnings, deductions, taxes, and general ledger (GL) mappings
Help test accrual policies, pay codes, and basic timekeeping rules
Provide support in troubleshooting configuration issues and documenting resolutions
Communicate with internal team members and clients to ensure accurate project execution
Lead client one-on-one training as applies and support the client in utilizing additional training resources available
Maintain project documentation and status updates in internal tracking systems
Participate in training sessions to build expertise in the UKG Ready platform and implementation methodology

Required

Basic understanding of payroll concepts, including earnings, deductions, and taxes
Familiarity with general ledger (GL) structure and accounting basics
Foundational knowledge of accruals (e.g., PTO, vacation) and timekeeping practices
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced project environment
Experience with the UKG Ready platform

Preferred

Exposure to payroll, timekeeping or accounting systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software
Associate degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field
