New Grad, Entry LevelLegacy Cooperative is looking to add a Full-Time Fertilizer Technician to their Agronomy team. The role involves operating equipment, handling fertilizer and chemicals, and ensuring safety and maintenance standards are met.

Responsibilities
Pull trailers using single axle or semi-truck loaded with fertilizer following all safety standards of the company and applicable laws
Loads and unloads dry fertilizer and chemicals
Operate forklift to assist in loading and unloading products
Perform general maintenance on fertilizer equipment and complete improvements needed on fertilizer facilities
Keep maintenance files current on all fertilizer application equipment, delivery trucks and pickups
Follows all governmental and safety regulations concerning the handling of fertilizer and agricultural chemicals
Assist with taking inventory, stocking equipment parts and general housekeeping in shop, warehouse and plant facilities
Assist customers with loading chemical fertilizer, etc
All other duties assigned by division, location, or operations manager
Qualification
Required
Ability to pull trailers using single axle or semi-truck loaded with fertilizer following all safety standards of the company and applicable laws
Ability to load and unload dry fertilizer and chemicals
Ability to operate forklift to assist in loading and unloading products
Ability to perform general maintenance on fertilizer equipment and complete improvements needed on fertilizer facilities
Ability to keep maintenance files current on all fertilizer application equipment, delivery trucks and pickups
Ability to follow all governmental and safety regulations concerning the handling of fertilizer and agricultural chemicals
Ability to assist with taking inventory, stocking equipment parts and general housekeeping in shop, warehouse and plant facilities
Ability to assist customers with loading chemical fertilizer, etc
Ability to perform all other duties assigned by division, location, or operations manager
Preferred
Valid Commercial Drivers License with class C
Experience in operating forklifts and loaders
Willingness to attain Class A CDL
