Technical Sales Engineer
Smart-tek is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who can bridge technical expertise with client-focused solutions. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, present technical solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while understanding their technical needs
Present technical solutions to clients in a clear and persuasive way
Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Manufacturing, and R&D, to ensure customer success
Conduct market research and analyze sales trends to inform business decisions
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
Support product development with customer insights and feedback
Travel to customer sites (up to 50%) after initial training period
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineer or a technical field
Energetic, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in sales
Comfortable working with data and tools like Excel (or Google Sheets)
Willingness to travel up to 50% after training (all expenses paid and per diem)
Preferred
Experience in the plastics industry or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred, but not required)
