They are seeking a part-time On Air Personality for KSON, where the individual will create original content and perform live broadcasts while engaging with the audience through social media and attending station events.
Responsibilities
Create original content and perform live or tracked weekend broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
Protect the station’s FCC license
Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
Other duties as required by management
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of ON AIR radio experience
Must exude personality and knowledge of the country format
Must have social media experience across all platforms
Must have working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air execution
Must be able to travel to 9665 Granite Ridge Drive, San Diego, CA
A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required
