Responsibilities

Reviewing Customer technical documents and product requirements
Collaborating with Engineers within the Business Unit to generate technical solutions for the Siemens suite of products
Preparing customer facing proposal packages
Collaborating with Siemens Business Development Managers, Sales and customer in the industrial, construction and utility markets on technical, contractual, and commercial issues to generate bookings

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent)
1+ year engineering experience in power/tech industry
Ability to analyze customer's technical documentation to interpret and apply appropriate product offerings
Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office tools and SAP
Up to 10% travel required to attend trainings, workshops, events, and special meetings
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

Bachelor's degree is preferred and may be substituted for two years of experience
Financial knowledge to understand and participate in ongoing business planning and product support as well as project lifecycle management processes
Motor Control Center engineering experience or Siemens equipment experience
Excellent communications skills
Excellent collaboration, leadership, and decision-making skills in a team environment with demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service
Proficient in the design and application of electrical distribution products
Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL and NEMA standards for power distribution applications
Working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in low voltage power distribution products
Local candidates in and around the Raleigh / Durham area
