Responsibilities

You perform testing and troubleshooting on substation apparatus and power transformers equivalent to NETA Level 2 or NETA level 3 testing capability
You support verification of alarms, system protection schemes, and control wiring
You follow OEM, utility, and end‑user testing specifications
You document test results accurately and prepare customer reports
You work safely with industrial equipment, tools, and vehicles
You follow all safety and environmental protocols

Required

3–5 years of experience in electrical testing or field services, ideally with substation or transformer testing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Strong attention to detail and safe work habits
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug testing
Willingness to travel up to approx. 80% across the U.S., including weekends and holidays
Effective communication in English for documentation and safety‑critical tasks
Perform testing and troubleshooting on substation apparatus and power transformers equivalent to NETA Level 2 or NETA level 3 testing capability

Preferred

Experience with substation apparatus or transformer maintenance
Familiarity with electronic test software
Experience mentoring or guiding field crews
Experience preparing OEM or utility testing documents
Hold a Class A CDL
