Responsibilities
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics - fair debt collection practices
Inform clients by explaining the process; answering questions; providing information; researching issues
Collect customer information pertinent to business objectives such as name, address, demographic, and financial information
Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
Qualification
Required
Entry-level experience
Collections customer service background
Experience in a call center environment
Handling inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment
Well-versed in Microsoft's suite of programs
Data entry skills
Able to type at least 75 wpm
Familiar with general office work including printing, scanning, and mail machines
Very organized
Detail-oriented
Able to handle a high volume workload
Strong phone and verbal communication skills
Active listening skills
People skills
Previous experience in a collections customer service/support role
Attention to detail
Professionalism
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
