The role involves enhancing the data infrastructure, developing ETL processes, and ensuring data governance standards are upheld.

Responsibilities
Database management : Maintain, optimize, and enhance our existing data infrastructure ensuring high performance and reliability
Data transformation : Develop and optimize ETL processes, ensuring accurate and timely data transformation
Project Ownership: You will be point of contact for data-related questions on various initiative-based projects assigned
SQL : Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
Data Literacy : Understand business context and support analysts/stakeholders in crafting and standardizing source-of-truth data models/visualization
Best Practices : Promote best practices for data management and ensure adherence to data governance standards
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to manage projects and communicate effectively across teams
A robust understanding of database architecture and data warehousing, with the ability to design and implement effective data storage solutions
Experience with marketing related data sets
Advanced experience with dbt and git
Minimum of 5 years' experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or similar role, with a proven track record of managing complex data projects
Advanced SQL knowledge, with demonstrated expertise in writing and optimizing complex queries; familiarity with BigQuery and Snowflake will be advantageous
Hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing ETL/Orchestration tools such as Airflow, Mage, or Prefect
Proficiency in Python or another data-centric programming language
Preferred
familiarity with startups, ecommerce or subscription based businesses
experience with GA4 + web analytics
experience with Looker, Fivetran, or other data integration platforms
interest in the fashion industry, or a passion for fashion
