Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently move, load, and unload tile and stone products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other designated equipment
Inspect materials for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before handling or shipment
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventories
Work closely with the inventory control team to identify and resolve discrepancies

Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free
Assist in the arrangement and optimization of storage spaces for efficient material flow

Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the supervisor
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise
Communicate effectively with suppliers and carriers regarding inbound and outbound shipments
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous experience as a material handler in a warehouse environment, preferably in the tile and stone industry
Previous experience loading and unloading trucks
Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols
Preferred
Forklift certification and experience operating other warehouse equipment
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing
Proven experience handling experience in a precise and meticulous manner
