Litigation Paralegal
Peregrine Search Solutions is a consumer-advocacy law firm that provides representation to consumers facing financial difficulties. They are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to assist attorneys in managing litigation matters, drafting legal documents, and providing administrative support to the office staff.
Responsibilities
Assisting the firm’s attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters
Drafting pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, etc
Communication with clients and opposing counsel
Research with regard to simple and complex legal matters
Administrative responsibilities such as client intake, organizing, and record keeping
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience (e.g., drafting pleadings and legal research)
Exceptional legal writing skills
Possess superior organizational and time-management skills
Must be computer literate: Ability to easily learn the Firm's case management software
Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside parties
