Responsibilities
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities
Responsible for training and developing billing staff at all assigned pharmacies
Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
Coordinate the performance review process for all billing employees
Maintain effective two-way communication between upper management and billing personnel
Responsible for ensuring all billing processes are followed and billing is accurate at all assigned pharmacies
Detect errors in billing processes and make appropriate corrections
Oversee monthly month-end close for each assigned pharmacy to maximize efficiencies
Review monthly facility billed totals to detect trends that may need to be enacted on
Complete facility billing analysis as needed
Complete a quarterly billing audit to ensure policy and procedures are followed and share the results with upper management
Review account receivable dashboard with billing staff quarterly
Stay up to date on all third-party communications to share with billing staff
Support other departments and personnel in billing processes
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum: AS Degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Effective communicator with a strong ability to listen and respond to needs of employees
Ability to motivate and train employees at all levels of responsibility
Strong PC skills including all aspect of Microsoft Office
Strong Organizational and Analytical Skills
Preferred
BA, BS or higher in Accounting or related
2- 5 Years or more of Management experience
