Responsibilities
Evaluate supplier risks across operational, financial, compliance, cybersecurity and geopolitical domains
Conduct supplier due diligence, including risk questionnaires, document reviews and standard supplier investigations
Ensure supplier compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including but not limited to: FARS/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, CMMC/NIST 800-171, Counterfeit Parts Prevention
Support internal, customer and government audits related to supplier risk and compliance
Monitor supplier performance, financial health, geopolitical exposure and regulatory changes
Track and report supplier risk metrics, trends and incidents
Create systemic solutions for supplier tracking and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of more of directly related work experience preferably in a government-contracting environment
Experience in a large, complex, multifaceted design & manufacturing environment
Secret clearance or secret eligible
Strong understanding of defense aerospace industry & regulations and the understanding of the role of the supply chain in complex industries
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow down requirements, including cybersecurity and counterfeit parts prevention requirements
Knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)
Strategic/Critical thinking
Ability to find win-win solutions
Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts
Excellent relationship / interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to foster and grow relationships cross-functionally
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Strategic planning to meet long term transformation goals
Continuous improvement mindset with an ability to challenge the status quo
