Engineering and Housekeeping Dispatch Supervisor

The Engineering and Housekeeping Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the dispatch of service requests related to the Engineering and Housekeeping departments, ensuring timely responses and high service standards in a fast-paced resort environment.

Responsibilities
Monitor and assign incoming maintenance and housekeeping requests via the resort’s ticketing system, radio, phone, and property management system (Eagle)
Ensure work orders are distributed to the appropriate teams promptly and follow up to ensure timely completion
Prioritize urgent requests, including guest room issues, safety hazards, and emergency repairs
Act as the communication hub between Engineering, Housekeeping, Front Desk, and other hotel departments
Oversee the dispatch team and ensure they follow proper procedures
Provide training and guidance to staff on dispatching protocols and service standards
Support Engineering and Housekeeping teams by tracking work progress and reporting delays or issues
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures
Ensure that guest requests and concerns are handled efficiently, professionally, and courteously
Monitor trends in maintenance and housekeeping requests to identify recurring issues and recommend solutions
Assist in maintaining records of completed work orders and inspections for quality control and compliance
Maintain accurate records of service requests, response times, and work completion reports
Generate daily reports on outstanding maintenance issues and housekeeping progress
Manage time off requests insuring coverage on all shifts
Any other tasks as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
2+ years in a dispatch, coordination, or supervisory role in hospitality, engineering, or housekeeping
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in hotel property management systems (Eagle, HotSOS, or similar), Microsoft Office, and radio communication protocols
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and make quick decisions under pressure
Knowledge of hotel operations, maintenance processes, and housekeeping standards
Required to sit for extended periods of time
Preferred
associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus
